Our Mission

EMBODEX is building the world's first comprehensive record of skilled physical intelligence.

Across every industry, there are experts whose knowledge cannot be put into words: the way they move, the decisions they make in real time, the instincts developed over decades of practice. This expertise has never been systematically captured—until now. By partnering directly with skilled workers and equipping them with specialized body worn devices, we are capturing first-person video of physical expertise at a scale and fidelity that was previously impossible.

We are beginning with home trades because housing is a fundamental human need and one of the largest sectors of the global economy. After 40 years in home construction and trades, we bring deep domain expertise and a commitment to preserving the knowledge of these skilled workers.

EMBODEX intends to document every craft and form of physical mastery that builds and sustains civilization, ensuring this foundational knowledge helps to shape the tools and intelligent systems of the future.

What This Data Enables

The data we capture will help shape a new generation of intelligent systems that understand how to interact with the physical world.

01

World models

Comprehensive representations of how physical environments behave, enabling systems to predict and plan

02

Embodied learning

Teaching systems to perform skilled physical tasks by observing how experts do them

03

Training resources

Materials for apprentices, safety documentation, and preservation of techniques at risk of being lost

04

Real-world grounding

Authentic data from unpredictable jobsite conditions that cannot be replicated in a laboratory

Who We Work With
